- Active oral herpes: Must wait until completely healed.
- Oral Roaccutane / Accutane treatment: Wait 6 months after stopping treatment.
- Active cancer treatments (chemotherapy / radiotherapy): Requires medical clearance.
- Severe blood clotting disorders: Postponed for safety.
