The Preventive Medical Protocol: The Golden Solution
By consulting your physician or pharmacist, you can obtain an oral antiviral (such as Acyclovir or Valaciclovir). Starting treatment 2 to 3 days before your session and continuing for 3 to 4 days post-procedure virtually eliminates the risk of an outbreak.

No, absolutely not. The appointment must be postponed until the blister has completely healed.
What should I do if a blister forms after my appointment?+
Contact your doctor immediately for antiviral therapy. Do not pick or rub the blister, as this causes localized pigment loss.
Can cold sore scars be corrected at the touch-up?+
Yes! If a minor loss of pigment occurs in the blister spot, we can easily repigment it during your 1-month touch-up.
